Installing
Make sure you have:
- Windows, with the desktop Word and Excel apps from Microsoft 365
- Administrator permission on the PC (the installer asks for it)
- Word closed while you install
Don't see the Links tab after installing? In Word, open File › Options › Add-ins, choose COM Add-ins › Go, and make sure Best Link Manager is checked.
License keys
- Make sure you copied the entire key (format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
- Check your spam folder for the license email
- Each license works on 2 computers. To move it, click License on the Links tab and choose Deactivate This Computer on the old one first
